THE DOOR TO THE IMAGINARY
One day, an idea came to me. Why not get out of the realistic rose and venture into something more fanciful. My imagination started racing from that moment on. I started to project extravagant silhouettes of my flowers and I thought about the means that would allow me to realize them.
So I thought of a first approach. Since I knew how to make the leaves with their limbs and petioles that connects them to the stem, I thought I could easily make those petioles much longer while keeping rigidity or flexibility according to their thickness. We then obtain a kind of cord to fix the flower, the next step is to see how it is possible to give it shapes and observe the final result.
First of all, we had to find a way to make cords about twenty centimeters long. I quickly found how to assemble two halves of a napkin paper end to end in one go and make it homogeneous
Thanks to this technique, there is no limit to the length. We can make a cord as long as there is piece of napkin to add.
Once the cord is attached, the purpose of the game is to roll it around the flower in a spiral motion. Rolling sets can be varied for different renderings or effects. There are so many possibilities to explore.
In the end, the result is simply amazing. We have a feeling of embracing or wrapping the rose with its liana. The spiral can take different colors to mark the contrast. Here too, the colorful experiences are vast.
This model is really the base from which most of my fantasy achievements come from.
